Siemens-Enka gets $26m for Nizhnevartovsk power design

Energy company OGC-1 and oil giant TNK-BP have signed a $26m contract with German-Turkish engineering JV Siemens-Enka for the drafting of project design for construction of a third power block at the Nizhnevartovsk power station in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, OGC-1 reported today.

The contract stipulates the drafting of project design papers, geotechnical research, and analysis of transport routes for equipment supply.

Construction of the power block is scheduled to start in 2009 and last three years. Total investment is yet to be disclosed.
