Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has put a $6.7m fine on Perm region-based gas supplier Permregiongaz for antitrust offense, FAS reports.
FAS said that Permregiongaz' policy of fining consumers who used less or more gas than expected by requiring them to pay 100% of their gas costs in advance was not allowed.
Seven consumer companies, including Permgasenergoservice, bakeries Zakamsky Khleb and Pokrovsky Khleb, and others, filed complaints to the FAS about the company's alleged abuse.
