SibENTC drafts $1.2bn power station

Novosibirsk-based energy supplier SibENTC has announced that by the end of the year it will complete a feasability study for a $1.2bn project for construction of a condensation power station in Altay Region, Altay regional authorities reported today.

The 600MW station will be producing only electric power, they said.

Sources in the Altay regional administration told Marchmont that construction would be funded from both regional coffers and private investment.
