Bashkiria eyes three power stations worth $71m

Authorities in the Republic of Bashkortostan have announced plans to build three gas turbine power stations worth a total of $70.7m.

The project is reportedly to be financed with bank loans, funds from the regional and municipal budgets, private investment funds.

Under plans, the stations, with power capacity of 16 MW each, are to be built in the towns of Belebey, Ufa and Oktyabrsky.

The three stations are scheduled to be put into commission before 2013.
