Nizhny Novgorod energy company Nizhnovenergo has announced plans to invest a total of $923m in development of its energy facilities in 2011-2015.
Under plans, in the next five years a total of 900 MW of new power capacities are to be launched in the region, including 200 MW in the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
The funds are reportedly to be invested into repairs, reconstruction and construction of energy facilities. For example, the funds are to be spent on the ongoing construction of Strelka 110 kV substation, as well as starting construction of Varvarskay and Sennaya substations in Nizhny Novgorod.
Nizhnovenergo is a part of interregional distribution grid company MRSK Center and Volga.
