Koreas Hyundai to build multi-million plant outside Vladivostok

Korean company Hyundai Heavy Industries has announced plans to build a plant to produce electrotechnical equipment in Primorsky region, Kommersant reports.

Investment in the project is estimated at tens of million of dollars.

The plant, located outside Vladivostok, is reportedly to create 300 local jobs.

Under plans, the plant is to produce SF-gas insulated switch and control gears.

The plant is scheduled to be put into commission in late 2012.
