MES East to build $66m substation in Vladivostok

Interregional grid operator MES East has announced plans to invest $66m building 220 kV Green Corner substation in Vladivostok, Primorsky region.

The substation, with power capacity of 126 MVA, is reportedly to supply power to Green Corner and Ussuriysky residential districts, currently under construction in Vladivostok.

Construction has just started, the substation is scheduled to be put into commission in July 2011.

MES East is a part of national grid operator FSK UES.
