Gazprom to build $210m power station in Kaluga region

Gas giant Gazprom intends to build a $210m gas turbine thermal power station in Kaluga region, news site Kaluga Start reports.

Under plans, the power station, located in Borovsky district, is to provide additional power for high-tech production facilities in Vorsino industrial park, and to ensure further development in the regions Northern districts.

The stations projected power capacity is 100 MW.

Timeframes for the project have yet to be disclosed.
