National energy grid company IES-Holding has announced plans to invest $103m to prepare its power facilities and heating network within Generation Urals division for 2010-2011 heating season.

Under plans, the funds are to be used to repair 158 turbine units, 275 boiler units and 62 water heating boilers, as well as to lay 72.5-kilometer heat mains.
