MES East starts Vladivostok’s Airport substation

Energy company MES East has begun construction of the 220kV Airport substation to supply electricity to Vladivostok’s Knevichi airport currently being upgraded in Primorsky Region, the firm said.

The 50MVA project is reportedly scheduled for completion in Q3 2010.

The cost of the project has yet to be announced.

MES East is part of federal grid company FSK UES.
