Energy company MES East has put into operation a 220/110/10kV, 125MVA autotransformer at the 220kV Shirokaya substation currently being upgraded in Primorsky Region, the firm said earlier today.
In addition, a 220kV outdoor switchgear has been reportedly revamped as part of the project.
Investment in the project has yet to be announced.
The improvements now enable MES East to connect new energy consumers, including the VSTO long-range oil pipe.
MES East is part of federal grid company FSK UES.
