MGF-CIS to build $545m power stations in Tomsk

US power company MGF-CIS Limited is to invest $545m in construction of eight mini power stations in Tomsk, Kommersant reports.

The power stations are reportedly to be built in the city districts, experiencing power deficit.

Under the project, the stations’ electricity power is to vary from 3 to 50 MW, and heating power is to range from 2.5 to 100 GCal.

The stations are scheduled to be put into commission by 2015.
