Vologdaenergo to invest $67m in innovation projects by 2016

Vologda region energy company Vologdaenergo has announced plans to invest $67m in innovation technologies implementation till 2016.

Among the companys most significant projects are $2.3m reconstruction of a Vostochnaya Gorodskaya Severnaya Zapadnaya power line, $1.8m construction of a 110 kV distribution unit at gas turbine station Krasavino in Velikoustyugsky district, and $1.8m construction of a 110 kV distribution union and two-chain 110 kV power line to supply energy from Vologda TPS thermal power station, the firm said.

Vologdaenergo is part of interregional distribution grid company MRSK North-West.
