FSK UES plans $72m substation overhaul in Bryansk region

National energy supplier FSK UES plans to carry out $71.8m major overhaul of substation Tsementnaya in Bryansk region, Interfax reported earlier today.

Under plans, the energy supplier is to build a new substation control unit, two 220kW autotransformers with total capacity of 250MVA and three 110kW transformers with total capacity of 96MVA.

Also new systems of automated energy accounting and automated control of operational procedures are to be set up at the substation, according to Interfax.

Reconstruction is scheduled for completion in 2010.
