Tula region to install $7m energy meters in houses

Authorities in Tula region have announced plans to spend a total of $7.2m on installation of energy resources meters in apartment buildings in 2010-2011.

Of the total funding, $4.6m is reportedly to be allocated from the federal Support for Reforming Housing Utilities Fund and other utilities organizations, $2m is to be assigned by municipal authorities, and $600,000 is to be raised from household owners.
