Yarenergo invested $16m in energy facilities in 2009

Yaroslavl region energy supplier Yarenergo invested a total of $15.85m in construction and modernization of its energy facilities in 2009, the company reports.

Of the total funding, $9m is reportedly to be spent on reconstruction and overhaul of existing energy facilities, $6.2m is to be invested in construction of new facilities, and $650,000 is to be used to purchase new equipment.

As a result of investment, the company’s power capacities have grown by 93.9 MVA, and 229.8 kilometers of power lines have been put into commission.

Yarenergo is a part of interregional distribution grid company MRSK Center.
